summer art contracts 1

This was a Tribute piece that I did with Gunnar Productions. It was often frustrating but ultimately a very rewarding project that pushed me out of my wheel house and often beyond my limits.  Needless to say I feel like this mini series helped me brush off a lot of cobwebs.

Spending a lot more time in the mountains this winter. getting some great inspiration on the peaks.

This was originally a proof of concept for a mural project that didn't quite pan out. but Im pretty happy with how this turned out any way. 

PANDA POLES - Custom ski topsheet

I just wrapped this guy up the other day "Panda Poles" will be pressing some custom skis this year with  "CARAVAN skis"  check out both these company's RAD gear.

this was just a doodle that turned into a personal color study I had some fun with over last weekend.

I had a chance to paint up some nebula backgrounds for Legacy of the Elder Star now available on STEAM I must say I do enjoy painting space.  The trickiest bit was making the custom brushes, I must of tried twenty variations before I found something that didn't look completely wrong.

When we first started our game Legacy of the Elder Star we tried to get funding thru a KickStarter campaign.  This is the art I made to try and attract donations for our game.  Check out our game for sale on STEAM   Kickbomb Entertainment

I have been so busy trying to find my next gig to keep things going that I have been remiss on my uploads of the massive amount of art and effort that went into LEGACY of the ELDERSTAR.  Here is the FIRE BALL effect.   at least my favorite layer of it :)  gotta say this was a lot of fun.

a little something different

I recently had the opportunity to bust out my aerosol cans and do some spray art for a friends boat.  Its a homemade wooden/ fiberglass Dory.  this is what it looked like before he launched down the Grand Canyon.   I'm going to assume its going to need some touch up work now :)

ELDERSTAR ART MORE

Since Josh is busy showing our game Legacy of the ElderStar  off at MAG FEST  I'll post some more art.  Here are the concepts to final draft of the supporting NPC characters that we decided to cut from the game when we ran short on budget and time.  You may recognize them from the early game posters I painted.   It would have been fun animating these guys properly, but I had just as much fun coming up with them in the first place.      Enjoy-

I have done a terrible job keeping everyone up to date on the progress of Legacy of the Elder Star  So with my apologies I'll ramp up as we are putting our final touches on the game.
